Cocobolo is an exotic wood native to Panama, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua, and is favored for custom gun grips, knife handles, fine furniture, cabinetry, inlays, and musical instruments. The wood is very durable and strong, with a fine texture. It is extremely beautiful, with an irregular grain pattern and ranges in color from dark red to reddish brown. This particular ring turned, sanded, and polished to a beautiful red color and dark markings throughout. It polished to a semigloss finish and is just beautiful!
