Claro walnut wood/ red resin side table

Claro black walnut only grows in Northern California and Oregon. It's beautiful violet and brownish black streaks, with a marbled assortment of rich and varied colors and curly figure make this as exciting and beautiful as any wood there is. It is by far superior to Eastern Walnut, and much rarer, so it is always in high demand and short supply. Particularly for Claro, it is important to choose the right piece for furniture to bring out the best possible qualities of the wood. In our piece, the color differential in the wood vs. the resin tell the story. The seal on this is dutch oil, which draws out the light and dark colors in the wood. The red resin is just enough to compliment the natural cracks, and the hair pin legs give a sleek, modern yet rustic feel. This piece would be great for any bedside or end table.
