Claro black walnut only grows in Northern California and Oregon. It's beautiful violet and brownish black streaks, with a marbled assortment of rich and varied colors and curly figure make this as exciting and beautiful as any wood there is. It is by far superior to Eastern Walnut, and much rarer, so it is always in high demand and short supply. Particularly for Claro, it is important to choose the right piece for furniture to bring out the best possible qualities of the wood. In this piece, the lighter color slabs of wood combined with the deep, ocean blue resin gives you a "by the water" feeling. Iron hairpin legs perfectly finish this piece without taking away from the top. Great size for a tall side table or a place to show off your adventurous streak!
